Olawole Frankfurt Ogunfunminiyi is a Ph.D. student in Computer Engineering at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), conducting multidisciplinary research in biomedical data analysis and machine learning at the CRI Center for Computational Systems Biology within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research focuses on integrating machine learning, deep learning, and cloud computing for large-scale biomedical data processing. Holding an M.S. in Computer Science from PVAMU and an MBA from Business School Netherlands, he leverages big data technologies like Apache Spark, AWS Glue, and Databricks to develop scalable data pipelines. Under the supervision of Dr. Suxia Cui, he serves as a Graduate Research Assistant, applying IoT sensor data and AI-driven analytics to predict flood risks and optimize environmental modeling. His work bridges data science, computational biology, and cloud architectures.
